Lagniappe Mosaic - Mosaic Gallery 7 - #191 Lazy Susan for Kitchen

Held vertical with 2 water bottles.

Began: 4/14/10 - This turn table is about 20" across and I've been using it for my projects. When I rearranged my kitchen, it utilized my corner very practically and so I decided to mosaic it.

This was going to be my color scheme, until I found out that this vitreous tile is slightly thicker than stained glass. So I decided to put these colors all along the edge.

I'm using a glue called DAP, which I bought about a year ago but didn't like because it was so hard to get out of the tube. But it held the tile without slipping brilliantly. Also, very little smell.



Since this is going to be covered with tons of stuff, I didn't put a lot of thought in planning the design. I'm using scraps and pieces. It's all going to be covered up anyway.	Design is taking shape. I'll be grouting in Terra Cotta, which won't show stains and will go with my kitchen. I'll be sealing this.	4/16/10 - Remember, this design is not going to show. But if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have put the big circles. Tomorrow I grout.
