Mirabeau - Mermaid of the Sea

#171 - Page 4

Page 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

3/1/09 - These are Mirabeaus' air bubbles.  I've chosen an iridesant stained glass that is yellow in some light, blue or purple in other light.  Very different magical!

3/12/09 - I've been working on flow of water after edges are completed in that area.  I told myself I wasn't going to buy more stained glass and just use what I have, but we'll see.....

Notice the shading of her nose. I'm going to replace the side of her nose with a darker color.  Tonal quality.

3/30/09 - I've made progress on the water and am using my new Taurus Ring Saw III.  It definitely has it's place, but there's no doubt skills are needed in simple glass cutting with nippers.

2/26/09 - When the ocean glows from the silver path of moon beams, Mirabeau begins her journey up from the realm of the underworld which is a deep, perilous place filled with many unknown's.  Full of intention, she seeks her love for she is lonely ...

In between her arms is Simon, a seahorse who is not only a friend, but a wise sage and companion.
